The story of how Kitty Kitty came into our lives.
My neighbors next door at one time had a bunch of cats. They usually roam around the neighborhood and don't generally interact with me. One day while spending time out in the garage on a project, one of their cats kept coming over and spending time with me. And like most cats they are curious creatures and she liked to get up in the middle of my business. At that time she looked kind of rough and scruffy. Some of her hair was missing from her face and tail. I didn't know what her name was and I just called her Kitty Kitty and referred to her as my garage cat.
Winter came and it was getting cold outside so we started letting her stay in the garage overnight with garage shut. Well this eventually required a cat box, food and water. Over time she grew her hair back and looked much better. She eventually became part of the group around here. Anna and I have become quite fond of her and she has become a part of our daily lives. Everyone that comes over loves her because she is such a friendly and gentle cat.
One day I asked Howie my neighbor if he wanted his cat back and he said, "No you can keep her. As long as she is doing ok and happy, it's fine with him." He did mention that Kitty Kitty didn't get along well with the rest of their cats. I don't think she was happy over there. Kitty Kitty still goes over there to visit so I guess we have joint custody. What they say about cats is true, they choose their humans.
I was trying to find out what breed of cat she is and the closest thing I found was the Ragamuffin.
