A Conversation With An Exorcist

- Posted in Alternative News by

I've told this story a few times to people and they just kind of look at me like yeah right and just dismiss it. But when I was a young man I was working in a warehouse with an individual who had a drug and alcohol problem. One evening he came to work and was high on something plus drinking alcohol which made him act a bit crazy. He basically was not of much use workwise because he wasn't functioning in a normal fashion. When my work was done and I was headed home he asked if I could give him a ride home. I reluctantly said ok and I proceeded to take him home. On the way to where we were going he had some kind of wierd maniacal laughter over something I said. I looked over at him straight into his eyes as he was looking right at me. There was something about his face that looked demonic. It was like his face was distorted in some way. I didn't have a word for it at the time but since then it seems like something they call shape shifting. It was real subtle but I remember saying to myself at the time, this guy is demon possessed. He later in life went into a career of crime by robbing a drug store and wound up in prison.

I never talk about this much even though it has stuck with me for 50 years because people don't seem to really hear what I'm saying. So that brings me to today's topic. For some reason most people don't seem to think that demonic possession is real. The reason I bring this up is because on Tucker Carlson's show, his guest is Exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger. Father Chad Ripperger has spent his life as an exorcist. It’s clear to him that demons are in charge of parts of American politics. On the show he mentions about how often in the New Testament Jesus cast out demons or unclean spirits. So if you are a Christian then you have to believe that it does exist. So his interview is what reminded me of my experience years ago as he discusses that some possessions include subtle shape shifting. I've had other experiences but none like that one.

Quick Search The New Testament mentions Jesus casting out evil spirits fifty-five times in total, though it describes these events in detail only five times.

While the broad count is fifty-five, specific sources analyzing the Gospels identify 12 distinct instances where Jesus is explicitly said to have "cast out a demon." These recorded events include:

  • A man in a synagogue (Mark 1)
  • Two men near tombs (Matthew 8)
  • A little girl (Mark 7)
  • A young boy (Luke 9)
  • A possessed man (Matthew 12)
  • Mary Magdalene, from whom seven demons were cast out (Luke 8:2, Mark 16:9)
  • The Gadarene demoniac (Mark 5)

Scholars also note that in the Gospel of Mark alone, demons are part of the narrative 14 times, often described as "unclean spirits."

I encourage you to watch the video. It further enforces the idea of the spiritual battle going on especially in high places. Enter your comments below.
